Marketing doesn’t have to be this scary monster that feels impossible to tackle.
Marketing in doses can unlock a world that can secure your financial freedom, create a fanbase of people who genuinely care about your success, and give you room to try new things. And it doesn’t have to be expensive either. Today, we will walk through the small things that every business should be doing as it relates to marketing and social media.
Instead of mindlessly scrolling through your preferred social media account, you should:
1.Respond to every comment your followers have left on your post.
Instructions: Intentionally go to your page and interact with those who have left comments on your posts.
2.Take 30 minutes to go through related hashtags and interact with accounts that you like.
Instructions: Go to your preferred social media platform and search hashtags that are related to your niche. Go through and find accounts and posts you enjoy and leave an encouraging comment. This will result in your page getting visibility and increase your followers.
3.Take 30 minutes to create content throughout the day or grab the content you have and repurpose it.
Instructions: for creating new content: Take small clips of your everyday tasks, add a trending sound to show what you do, the behind-the-scenes of how you do it, and show who you are. We are in a day and age where customers want to be on the journey with you.

Instructions: for repurposing content: Find content that you already have (i.e., You were on a panel discussion, hosted an event) and pull a favorite moment, quote, etc., and you can create a plethora of content introducing yourself to your current customers and potential new customers.

4.Create an ongoing list of content ideas that you can tackle throughout the day

5.Capture Everything
Instructions: Capture the big and small moments through video/photos. If you are a business, you want to be able to capture your growth and then share along the way.
6. Take 30 minutes to write down your marketing goals & how you are going to achieve them.
Instructions: Pull out a sheet of paper and write down your marketing dreams for the next five years. Challenge yourself to figure out what you must do to bring these dreams to reality.
7.Take 30 minutes to write a short business-focused LinkedIn post.
Instructions: Take 10 minutes to research an interesting topic. Take 15 minutes to write the post. Take 5 minutes to proofread and post with your last remaining minute.
